I hired JD for the biggest day of my Son's life.....his ordination to the Holy Orders. He was amazing. He asked to visit the Church and to meet... read more my son so he could check out the lighting to make sure he could capture what we wanted. You cannot use a flash during a Holy Mass. The trip from Ann Arbor was way over an hour and he didn't charge me for the extra trip. The day of his ordination he showed up early, stayed late, and was polite and professional. He captured the most beautiful images without being distracting while my Son celebrated his first Mass. I also asked for candid shots versus posed which he provided at the reception. Do not hesitate to hire him. I never write reviews but I felt like I needed to since he was such a solid photographer and a pivotal part in our celebration.
